Khammam Joint Collector reviews development works

Khammam: Joint Collector Anurag Jayanthi directs officials to immediately clear up all pending works in the villages. He conducted a video conference with Municipal Commissioners, Mandal Parishad Development Officers and Primary Health Centre officers here on Friday.

He reviewed the ongoing development works in the villages and asked them the status of development works after the completion of 30 days action plan in the villages. He said that 32 Panchayats do not have cremation grounds and 29 Panchayats do not have dumping yard facilities. He asked the officers to immediately identify land for the same and start works.

He also discussed the sanitation issues in the villages. He told the officers to continue fogging programme and sanitation programmes in the villages. Joint Collector ordered the Heath officers to conduct awareness programmes on viral fevers.

He asked the officers to take all precautionary measures to prevent spread of fevers in the villages. Trainee Collector Adarsh Surabhi, District Panchayat Officer Srinivas Reddy, Corporate Commissioner J Srinivas Rao, District Malaria Officer Dr Saidulu, District Medical and Health Officer Dr Kalavati Bhai and other district officers attended the meeting.
