Khammam: KCR, Jagan have secret pact over Krishna water, says Bhatti Vikramarka
Khammam: CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka alleged Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has colluded with the AP government and falling in front of YS Jaganmohan Reddy in the lifting of 80,000 cusecs of water from Krishna River through Pothireddypadu from Srisailam project.
Speaking to the media at Congress party office here on Wednesday, he remembered that Telangana State was formed for water and funds but after coming to power, the TRS rulers are mortgaging the State at the interests of other States.
He remembered the movements took place for the share in Krishna River as injustice was done to the TS in water sharing. Even after the formation separate State, Telangana is still facing injustice due to the selfish interests of some leaders in Telangana, he pointed out.
Vikramarka found fault with the state government for responding very late to the decision of AP government of lifting three TMCs of water from Krishna River.
He alleged the State government is wantonly reducing its share and AP government is increasing its share in Krishna River water. This will incur heavy loss to Khammam district, he added.
Mallu Bhatti stated that Congress will fight against AP and also expose Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao's drama. Later, along with party leaders, he submitted a memorandum to the District Collector.
Congress district president P Durgaprasad, town working president N Deepak Chowdary, president SK Javeed and others were present on the occasion.
