Khammam: MRPS lends support to RTC strike

Khammam: Madiga Reservation Porata Samiti (MRPS) founder president Manda Krishna Madiga expressed his solidarity to the RTC strike in Khammam on Friday.

He participated in a rally organised by the MRPS in Khammam town and later gave a memorandum to District Collector RV Karnan.  

Addressing the rally, Manda Krishna demanded the State government to merge the RTC with the government.

Stating that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was not honouring the High Court orders with regard to employees' strike, he said the Chief Minister was ruling the State like a dictator. He demanded the government to immediately hold talks with the RTC unions.

Adding that dissident among several TRS leaders was increasing with every passing day, Manda Krishna Madiga said the pink party would soon divide into two groups as many TRS leaders are displeased with K Chandrashekar Rao's unilateral decisions.

He called upon the people and employees to make the State bandh a grand success.
