Khammam people's dreams fulfilled: Minister Puvvada
Khammam: "It is the happiest day in Khammam town's history as 11 infrastructure projects worth Rs 218 crore are launched in a single day," stated Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar.
Along with IT Minister KT Rama Rao, Home Minister Mahmood Ali and R&B Minister V Prashanth Reddy, he participated in various development works in Khammam town on Monday.
Speaking at a public meeting, Minister Ajay said the dream projects of the people were fulfilled under the regime of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, along with the support of IT Minster KTR.
KTR had inaugurated IT Hub, ROB (Railway Over Bridge) in Dhamsalpuram village, Vykuntadhamam in Khammam on Monday.
Ajay explained all the development works that took place during the last six years in Khammam town and crores of rupees were spent for these works.
He appealed to the Chief Minister on the occasion to sanction Rs 30 crore funds for the development of roads in the divisions, allot funds for four-lane road from Sri Sri Statue to Venkataipalem village (which is the new Collectorate office) and second phase works of IT Hub worth Rs 25 crore.
Minister Ajay informed double bedroom houses construction works are going on at a brisk pace in Khammam district and 500 2BHK houses were allotted to beneficiaries and 1,250 houses were in final stage in Karepally. Not a single drinking water tanker was seen in the town after Amrutha scheme worth Rs 250 crore was completed in Khammam town, he pointed out.
