Khammam: Singareni Collieries Company Limited donates 1 cr to Odisha CM Relief Fund

Khammam: The Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) has donated Rs 1 crore to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund of Odisha government. Company Chairman and Managing Director N Sridhar handed over the cheque to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday in his office.

During the time, the Chief Minster thanked the SCCL Chairman for the donation and recalled the services of Singareni teams during floods in the State.

Sridhar, meanwhile, discussed the project of Naini coal block in Odisha. He informed that the coal production in the block would commence next year and a general manager has been appointed to oversee the works.

Company officials DN Prasad, Vijaya Rao, Ravindra Chowdary, Prajesh Kumar and Praveen accompanied the SCCL chief.
