Khammam: Solve pending issues in villages, ZP chief tells officials
Khammam: Zilla Parishad chairman Lingala Kamal Raju has directed the officials to solve all the pending issues in villages. The first general body meeting of the Parishad was conducted at the Zilla Parishad Office in Khammam on Friday in which all the ZPTCs, area MLAs, MLCs and officers took part.
Addressing the gathering, Kamal Raju directed the officials to work in tandem with the public representatives and clear all pending works in the villages. Stating that the governing body meeting would be conducted once in every three months, he appealed to the members to cooperate with the officials in solving the issues in their respective mandalas.
District Collector RV Karnan explained the ongoing development works in the district and directed the officials to speed up works and complete them in the stipulated time.
Sathupally and Wyra MLAs Sandra Venkata Veeraiah and Ramulu Naik, MLC Balasani Laxminarayana, Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer Priyanka, Joint Director Agricultural Jhansi Laxmi Kumari, District Medical and Health Officer Dr Kalavati bhai, District Rural Development Agency Project Director Indumati and others attended the meeting.
