Khammam; Telangana Union of Working Journalists conducts plantation programme

Khammam: Telangana Union of Working Journalists (TUWJ) leaders took part in sapling plantation under Green Challenge programme here on Monday.

Addressing on the occasion, TUWJ State vice president PV Srinivas informed that the Green Challenge programme was launched by MP Santosh Kumar. Several politicians and officials took the challenge and participated in the programme with enthusiasm.

All union leaders and members should participate in the programme and make it a grand success in the district, he added.

TUWJ district president A Adinarayana, secretary S Ismail emphasised on the protection of the environment and added that everyone should participate in the green drive.

Leaders of the union A Nagender, Khadeer, Sambasiva Rao, Prasanth Reddy, Vijetha, Rama Krishna, Nagaraju, Yakub Pasha, V Rama Rao, Ramesh, Satyanarayana, Eswari, K V.Rajendra Prasad, AppalaRaju, Yousaf Shareef, and Prudiv attended the programme.
