Khammam: Transport Minister inspects development works in villages
Khammam: Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar visited Koyachilka and Regulachelaka villages under Raghunadha Palem mandal in Khammam on Monday. He inspected the ongoing development works in the villages. He also interacted with the villagers and enquired about problems faced by them. He inaugurated additional call room buildings in ZPSS Regulachelaka village.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister stated that the government was giving more funds for the development of villages in the State. He said as part of 30 days action plan the village got a facelift across the State and appealed to the officers and people to continue to same team sprit for development of the villages.
He also asked the officers to complete double bedroom houses in the villages. He participated the Haritha Harama programme in the school premises. Speaking on the occasion, District Collector R V Karnan said all the villages are being developed under 30 days action plan and announced release of Rs 20 lakh under special grant for development of Koyachiluka and Regulachelaka.
Zilla Parishad Chairman Kamal Raju, Sarpanches of villages Hariprasad, Rama Rao, ZPTC Priyanka, MPP Gouri, Khammam Agricultural Marketing Committee Chairman M Venkat Ramana, and Tahsildar and MPDOs and other officers attended the programme.
