Khanapur: Forest department to appoint 75 base camp staff

Khanapur: Forest department higher officials informed that steps were being taken up to appoint base camp staff that are vacant in Khanapur forest division. The appointment process is being taken across the joint Adilabad district and through the outsourcing system. The walking test was conducted for the candidates and the winners in this test will be tested again. As many as 20 candidates were appointed in Khanapur forest division limits.

There are eight forest ranges in Sarangapur, Nirmal, Bhainsa, Mamada, Kadem, Pembi, Udumpur and Khanapur in Nirmal district. The officials are setting up more base camps where there is more forest area and base camps are limited to check posts in less forest areas.

At present, there are 15 base camps in the limits of eight ranges in the district. There will be five security guards in each base camp. The officials are taking 75 eligible candidates only into the jobs.
