Khammam: National Kisan Congress coordinator AK Rama Rao has resigned from his post on Thursday.

Speaking at a press meet at District Congress Party Office In this regard, he explained the reasons for his resignation.

He said that due to failure of the Congress party in the recent general elections in the country, the AICC president, Rahul Gandhi, took the responsibility and resigned from his post.

In support of his party chief's move, Rao also resigned from his post.

He extended special thanks to former Central Minister Renuka Chowdhury for appointing him to the post. He appealed to party leaders and supporters to strengthen the party in the district.
