Union Minister of State for Home G. Kishan Reddy on Tuesday has countered Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao over the criticism levelled against the centre's 20 lakh stimulus package. He said the centre has announced an excellent package of Rs.20 lakh crore to bring back the country's economy on track. "Will it not benefit Telangana people?" Kishan Reddy questioned. He also said that the Rs 20 lakh crore package would benefit the people of the country in larger interests.

It is known fact that KCR as popularly known as expressed displeasure in Monday's press meet over imposing regulations on increasing the credit limit especially on the power reforms. However, Minister Kishan Reddy said that the power reforms were being undertaken through One Nation One Grid to avoid stereotypical governance.

Kishan Reddy demanded KCR to tell as to in which way the package is not useful for Telangana. He said that the Modi government is adopting a variety of policies to bring investments to the country. "40,000 crore has been allocated for the Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGA), " Kishan Reddy asserted.
