Kishan, Shah's deputy at Home

Hyderabad: Newly elected BJP MP from Secunderabad G Kishan Reddy, who was sworn-in as Union minister on Thursday, was allocated the portfolio of Union Minister of State for Home Affairs in the Modi Cabinet on Friday.

The first-time MP from Telangana, Reddy will be deputy to party president Amit Shah, who is holding the Ministry of Home Affairs as Cabinet minister.

He is the third MP to find a berth in the Union Cabinet after Bandaru Dattatreya.
