Know the bus fare for Telangana's Medaram Jatara
The world's largest tribal fare Medaram Jatara is set to begin from February 5 in Mulugu district of Telangana. People across the state throng to the Jatara and offer jaggery paying their promises to the deities Sammakka and Saralamma.
On February 5, Saralamma, Pagididdaraju and Govindaraju will be brought to the Gaddes (sacred platforms) and Samakka will be brought to the gadde from Chilakalagutta on the next day. With the arrival of the deities, people can offer prayers on February 7 and the Jatara will conclude on February 8 with the re-entry of the goddesses to the forest.
The government has made all the are arrangements for the Jatara including special buses. The bus fares are different from different places in the state.
