Kodandaram launches 48 hour-strike, demands govt. to address farmers issues
TJS chief Kodandaram on Sunday launched a 48-hours strike at the party office to address issues pertaining to unemployed youth, farmers and private teachers. He said that they would fight until all the issues in the state are resolved.
Parties like CPI, CPM, TTDP expressed solidarity to the strike of Kodandaram. "It is unfair that the government has not given an allowance for the unemployed youth since it came to power. Kodandaram also called for the party leaders across the state to reach Hyderabad to join the strike. He also asked to continue the strike at their party offices if they are restricted by the police.
Backing Kodandaram, TTDP chief L Ramana said that the Telangana has been pushed into debts in CM K Chandrasekhar Rao's rule.
