Kodangal: 3 killed in road accident

Kodangal: Three persons were killed in a road accident near Timmareddypally village of Doulatabad mandal in Kodangal constituency on Tuesday.

According to Doulatabad police, Venkatappa (35), resident of Gokaphasalbad village in Doulatabad mandal, along with wife and two sons was going on a bike to Kotrike village in Karnataka bordering Vikarabad district.

Narasimhulu (30) of Balampet village of same mandal was going on a bike to Tandur. Both the bikes rammed into each other at a culvert near Timmareddypally.

Venkatappa, Ravi and Narasimhulu received grave head injuries and died on the spot. The police said high speed on both ends might have caused the deaths.

They registered a case and investigation is on. The bodies were shifted to Kodangal Government Hospital for postmortem.
