Kothapalli-Manoharabad Railway works on track

Manoharabad: Locals were full of joy when they found a train chugging along here on Thursday as part of trials. The new Kothapalli-Manoharabad line is nearing completion.

The work, a joint venture of centre and state government is going on a fast pace. Almost 15 km out of 17.2 km line has been completed already.

Several railway stations are under construction. The Railway officials are testing the viability of the track. As part of trial run, a rail travelled to Gajwel. Locals appealed authorities to construct a railway station near Ramayapalli Highway.
