IT and Industries minister KT Rama Rao on Saturday appealed to the union minister for civil aviation of India Hardeep Singh to arrange flights from Muscat to Hyderabad to bring back stranded people from Telangana.

People from various places in Telangana shared their ordeal to the minister about the problems being faced by them due to the lockdown. They told KT Rama Rao that the flights are being operated to Kerala from Muscat. Hence, they asked the minister to make arrangements for their return to the state.

They further added they have not been provided salaries for the last three months and are toiling for food.

KTR in a tweet to union minister Hardeep Singh said, "Request Hon'ble Civil Aviation Minister @HardeepSPuri Ji to kindly arrange for flights from Muscat to Hyderabad. Apparently fellow Indians are in distress without wages & essentials."
