KTR condoles Gattu Bheemudu's death in Gadwal
Gadwal: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) working president KT Rama Rao along with party senior leaders visited Baligera village in Gattu mandal of Gadwal district on Thursday and extended condolences to the family members of former Gadwal MLA Gattu Bheemudu, who breathed his last on Wednesday after prolonged illness.
KTR, after offering floral tributes to the deceased leader, recollected his services for the people of Gadwal as well as to the TRS party since his inception. Earlier, Gatttu Bheemudu was suffering from cardiac problems and was undergoing treatment for the past few months at the Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) in Hyderabad. He developed complications on Wednesday while undergoing treatment and later was declared dead by the doctors.
Bheemudu was known for his fight against belt shops and he was the first to win as MLA from TDP party to fight the monopoly of DK Aruna of Congress in 1999. Later, after the collapse of TDP party during the Telangana movement, Bheemudu joined TRS and took part in various programmes and strengthened the party in Gadwal.
KTR was accompanied by Excise Minister Srinivas Goud, Agriculture Minister Singireddy Niranjan Reddy, Jadcherla MLA Laxma Reddy, Gadwal MLA Krishna Mohan Reddy, Alampur MLA Abraham, former Minister Jupally Krishna Rao, Manda Jagannadam, Bhandari Bhaskar, ZP Chairmen and others.
