KTR denies owning farmhouse
Hyderabad: Stating that he does not own a property in the catchment area of Osmansagar lake, Municipal Administration Minister KT Rama Rao on Saturday said that he would be seeking legal remedies.
The minister took to twitter to clarify his stand on the notice given the National Green Tribunal against construction of farmhouse against GO 111 guidelines. Rama Rao said, "The NGT case filed against me by a Congressman is a deliberate personal vilification campaign based on utter false statements.
It remains a fact that I don't own the property as clarified by me earlier. I will seek appropriate legal remedies by exposing falsehood of allegations."
The Congress leader A Revanth Reddy had alleged that Rao's three-storey farmhouse was constructed in violation of the green norms and the NGT set up a fact-finding committee, headed by the Central Environment Registry Regional office.
