The minister called upon the municipal commissioners to work for taking the administrative and welfare fruits reach the people effectively.
He also asked the officials to work for planned development of the cities. "Let us all work together to provide good governance, speedy and transparent administration and also healthy environment as a team as it is not possible for a single person to provide the development fruits to the people," said KTR suggesting the commissioners to hold meetings with their staff on the new Act.
KTR said that the commissioner should work in such a manner that there is a change in the municipality.
