KTR extends financial aid to 3 meritorious students

Hyderabad: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) working president K T Rama Rao provided financial support to three meritorious students, who had no money to pursue medicine studies.

The TRS working president through social media got to know about the situation of A Kushwanth, who got 50th rank in the NEET and got admission in All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi but was unable to pursue medicine because of financial condition.

Rama Rao helped Khushwanth get financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh from the Chief Minister's relief fund by talking to Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao. Khushwanth's father Lakshminarayana died in a road accident recently and his mother Anita is a tailor.

The TRS leader also provided financial assistance to two more students for their studies. Rama Rao provided fee amount to K Lavanya, who secured first rank in the all India examination of National Institute of Nutrition.

Lavanya's father was working as a daily wage labour in a private company. She got in touch with Rama Rao on his Twitter account stating that her parents cannot provide financial support for her studies.

Another student S Pawan achieved free seat in VNR Vignanajyothi College and is studying B Tech third year.

Pawan brought to the notice of Rama Rao that his father works in a small tea kiosk and could not afford to pay his fees. Rama Rao ensured Pawan was given required money.
