Hyderabad: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) working president KT Rama Rao said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi did no good for the new State.

"Modi came to Hyderabad and addressed an election meeting. He talked about Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and his spiritual beliefs rather than highlighting the work he (Modi) did for Telangana," Rao said, while addressing a roadshow in Jubilee Hills on Saturday along with TRS MP candidate from Secunderabad Talasani Sai Kiran Yadav.

Commenting on Congress president Rahul Gandhi, Rama Rao said Rahul Gandhi feels that he is the 'Tekhedar' of this country. "We neither need a 'Chowkidar' nor a 'Tekhedaar'. What we need is a Zimmedaar, Imandaar, Asardaar leader like K Chandrashekar Rao who will address our day-to-day issues on a priority basis.

With 16 TRS MPs, the Chief Minister will ensure better funds and projects to the State as neither the BJP nor the Congress are in a position to get an absolute majority in the Lok Sabha elections," Rama Rao said.

K T Rama Rao urged the people to elect the TRS candidates in 16 of the 17 Lok Sabha constituencies in the State and ensure that the State has a say in national affairs.
