KTR helps an orphan girl
Sircilla: Local MLA and TRS working president KT Rama Rao extended his helping hand to an orphan girl by directing District Collector Venkatram Reddy to hand over a cheque for Rs 50,000 to her. Maddikunta Rajitha, resident of Mustabad village, lost her parents - M Kamalamma and M Ramulu – and is living in a hut in the village under miserable conditions.
When KTR came to know about her pathetic condition through Twitter, he responded immediately and directed the Collector to provide her financial help. Following the Collector's orders, District Revenue Officer Khimya Nayak along with District Education Officer Radha Kishan, Mandal Education Officer Rajaiah and Deputy Tahsildar B Gopal went to Mustabad village and handed over the cheque for Rs 50,000 to Maddikunta Rajitha.
They also admitted her in Multipurpose Health Workers (MPHW) course in Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya and assured of allotting a double bedroom house to her. The villagers of Mustabad thanked TRS working president and Sircilla MLA KTR for responding immediately by seeing M Rajitha's problem through Twitter and helping her.
