KTR inaugurates modern rythu bazar in Sircilla

Karimnagar: "Sircilla constituency, which has given me political birth will be placed in top position across the country," assured IT and Municipal Administration Minister KT Rama Rao.

On Tuesday, he inaugurated modern rythu bazar constructed at a cost of Rs 5.15 crore and Children Park constructed with Rs 41 lakh. He also laid foundation stone for the construction of check dam over Manair wagu at a cost of Rs 12 crore in Sircilla district.

Speaking on the occasion, Minister KT Rama Rao said several developmental activities are taking place in Sircilla town like those done in Karimnagar city. Starting from day one during his political career as a single window chairman to the Chief Minister, K Chandrashekar Rao has been working for 18 hours a day for farmers' welfare.

The CM completed the biggest lift irrigation project Kaleshwaram in a record time of three years. Even in Rohini karthe, the lakes were filled with water, that is capacity of CM KCR, he said.

Minister KTR said that unlike any other State in the country, the Telangana government is giving Rythu Bandhu and Rythu Bima schemes to the farmers. Even during economic crisis, in just one day the government had deposited Rs 52 lakh in the farmers' bank accounts under Rythu Bandhu scheme and waived off farm loans below Rs 25,000 of all farmers.

In the days to come, agriculture sector is going to become one of the major sectors in the State. The main intention of the TRS government is to make the farmer a king, he stated.

In the present Kharif season, additionally about 8,567 farmers will get benefit under Rythu Bandhu. KTR gave a call to farmers and people to give a counterattack to the Opposition leaders, who are opposing the crop regularisation, alleging that Rythu Bandhu will not be applicable for all those. But in fact, farmers will get maximum benefits if they cultivate crops as suggested by agricultural officials, he assured.

KTR reminded that the government stood by the side of Colonel Santhosh Babu's bereaved family, who lost his life during a fight with China troops.

CM KCR met the family in Suryapet, extended his condolences and handed over Rs 5 crore along with appointment order to the Martyr's wife and land papers in Hyderabad. All the leaders of Opposition parties appreciated the move of KCR, he informed.

TESCOB Chairman Konduri Ravinder Rao appealed to farmers to make use of the financial aid given under Rythu Bandhu scheme and cultivate crops, which are in demand in the market to get maximum yield. The government is constructing modern rythu bazars keeping in view of farmer's welfare.

ZP Chairperson N Aruna, Rythu Bandhu Samiti district president G Narsaiah, District Libraries Chairman A Shankaraiah, SES chairman D Lakshma Reddy, trainee Collector Rizwan Basha Shaik, RDO T Srinivas, Municipal Chairman Sammaiah, Marketing Officer Shabuddin, Agricultural Officer Ranadheer Reddy and Fisheries Officer Khadir Ahmed were present along with others.
