KTR makes surprise visit to Jangaon to inquire about Pattana Pragati

Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MAUD) minister KT Rama Rao made a surprise visit to Jangaon to inquire about the implementation of Pattana Pragati programme.

The minister inspected the sanitation works, drinking water supply and other works at Dharmakancha basti and later spoke to the people and inquired about the programmes being implemented under Pattana Pragati. Later, he asked the officials to launch more 'Swach' vehicles. Panchayat Raj minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao and MLA Muthireddy Yadagiri Reddy accompanied KT Rama Rao.

Pattana Pragati programme was launched on February 24, 2020 across the state after the success of Palle Pragati. The programme aims to improve sanitation and increase greenery.

Measures will also be taken to remove damaged electric poles and current wires hanging over houses. Besides, the collection of wet and dry garbage from every house was also a part in Pattana Pragati.
