KTR reviews Group Workshed Scheme in Sircilla

Sircilla: The State government had introduced the Group Workshed Scheme for transforming the handloom workers into industrialists and the Siricilla must become moral for other regions present in the country in terms of that, stated Sircilla MLA and TRS working president KT Rama Rao here on Wednesday.

He held a review meeting on Worker to Entrepreneur and on the progress of works on Operal Park, manufacture of Bathukamma Sarees, textile park additional works with the officials of Handloom and Textiles department here at MLA camp office in Sircilla town of Rajanna-Sircilla district.

Speaking at the meeting, KT Rama Rao ordered the officials to see that the benefits of Worker to Entrepreneur scheme reach the real beneficiaries and workers.

He said four ultramodern handlooms are going to be established in Peddur in about 88 acres of land by constructing 50 special sheds for handloom works along with providing all necessary basic facilities for the workers and some special sheds for women handloom workers too.

The officials must select the beneficiaries in a transparent manner by appointing special team without giving any scope for irregularities along with imposing strict rules not to sale their products to others, he suggested.
