KTR to inaugurate Cyient branch on October 5 in Warangal
Warangal: Warangal: Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MA&UD) and IT Minister KT Rama Rao is set to inaugurate the branch of Cyient, a leading software solutions and services provider with extensive domain knowledge across the utility supply chain, at the IT Park in Madikonda during his visit to Warangal on October 5.
It may be recalled here that the IT Park was inaugurated by Rama Rao in 2017. The Cyient set up its office at the IT Park's incubation centre, providing jobs to around 100 software engineers. The new branch of the IT Company is expected to accommodate 800 more employees.
The construction of the new building is almost complete, and it is expected to be inaugurated by Rama Rao and Chairman of Cyient B V Mohan Reddy. Cyient's infrastructure senior manager K Thirupathi Reddy said the three storied new building was constructed at a cost of Rs 25 crore.
Each floor can accommodate 600 members in three blocks. Two other blocks in the adjoining building provides working space for 200 techies. The 100 employees working in the incubation centre currently will shift to this building after inauguration.
"Graduates from local engineering colleges in Warangal are being given priority while recruiting employees. We are prioritising development of the Warangal as an IT hub and proving employment to the local youth. The recruitment will be held in phased manner," he said.
