KTR visits Bandanakal tank, says Minor irrigation tanks overflowing with Kaleshwaram project in Telangana
The young and dynamic leader of TRS party and the minister of municipal and information Technology K Rama Rao aka KTR is known to be an active leader in real and virtual in two Telugu states has visited Bandanakal tank in Mustanabad mandal along with Agriculture minister Singireddy Niranjan Reddy. He expressed his delight over the Godavari water gushing into the tank from Kaleswaram lift irrigation project. He said despite being summer, the water is overflowing through Telangana tanks.
The minister took to the Twitter and expressed his joy by writing, "In the peak of summer, minor irrigation tanks overflowing in Telangana, thanks to #KaleshwaramLiftIrrigation project & KCR Garu. Along with Agri Minister @SingireddyTRS Garu visited Bandanakal tank in Mustabad Mandal where Godavari water has gushed into the delight of farmers."

Earlier, a week back, Minister KT Rama Rao jas visited the Mustabad mandal and inquired about the developmental projects and ordered District Collector D Krishna Bhaskar to look after canal construction works between Ranganayak Sagar and Machhapur for filling lakes and tanks present in the surrounding villages of Bandankal, Morrapur and Therlamaddi at the request of Bandankal sarpanch Karthik Reddy. However, with the transfer of Godavari water to the rivers and lakes and tanks in the state, the water has reached the Bandanakal tank.
The minister and other leaders who has participated in the event has welcomed the water by showering the flowers.
