Last Monday of Karthika Masam: Many pray at Bhadradri

Bhadrachalam: Swami Paripoornananda visited the Lord Rama temple on Monday. He was welcomed by the priests with temple honours. After performing pujas in the sanctum sanctorum and offering prayers, he visited the temples of Goddess Laxmi Ammavaru and Lord Anjaneya Swamy on the premises.

Meanwhile, a heavy rush of devotees was witnessed at the temple as it was the last Monday of the auspicious Karthika Masam. Devotees from Telangana and neighbouring States thronged the temple. After taking a holy dip in the river Godavari, the devotees offered prayers at the temple.

Further, huge crowds of devotees were also seen at the Lord Siva temples. The priests performed special Abhishekams on the day.
