Laxman vows tocontinue fast tilljustice is done

Hyderabad: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president K Laxman vowed to continue his indefinite fast till the State government delivers justice to the intermediate students.

Laxman who is continuing his fast, after he was arrested and lodged at Nizam Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS), in a message on Tuesday said, "there is nothing which is more foolish than trying to suppress the voices demanding justice with arrests and crackdown on people."

He asked the State government not to go for prestige on the issues in delivering justice for the intermediate students affected due to the marks fiasco.

Condemning the police for resorting to lathi charge against the peacefully protesting party cadre before the District Collectorate, he reiterated that the agitation would not end until the government addresses the issue.
