Laxman's health causing concern
Hyderabad: BJP leaders here on Thursday expressed concern over the health condition of party State unit president K Laxman who is continuing indefinite fast at NIMS.
Laxman's sugar and BP levels dipped. Party leaders visited the NIMS on knowing the health of Laxman.
Police requested Laxman to allow doctors to start treatment, but he did not budge from his decision to continue fast until justice was done for Intermediate students.
BJP MLC N Ramachander Rao expressed his ire at the government for not making efforts to persuade the senior politician to end the fast.
Congress senior leader V Hanumantha Rao, MRPS leader Manda Krishna Madiga were among others who called on the BJP leader.
Intermediate student Shivani, who is also one of the affected students, came along with her father from Miryalaguda to NIMS to express solidarity.
