Leopard caught at ICRISAT released at Amrabad Tiger Reserve

The Leopard which was caught at ICRISAT on Wednesday was released at Amrabad Tiger Reserve in Mahbubnagar late on Thursday.
The eight-year-old male leopard was transported into the forest by the officials of Nehru Zoological Park and was freed in the midnight.
"The leopard was released into the forest after checking for sound health and absence of injuries," officials said.
The animal created panic among the ICRISAT staff in Hyderabad for about three months. It was first spotted on March 6 at the ICRISAT.
The forest officials installed more than 40 cameras to monitor the animal and also deployed four trap cages. However, it was captured on June 25.
