Lightning kills 2 persons, cattle in Nagarkurnool

Nagarkurnool: Two persons were killed due to lightning at Banala and Satapur villages of Balmoor and Peddakottapally mandals in Nagarkurnool district on Friday.

According to villagers of Banala, a person named Bhaskar (30) was killed on the spot when a lightning struck him when he was trying to secure himself near a tree from the sudden downpour.

In the second incident, Raju (15) from Satapur village, who was grazing his two bulls in the fields, was also struck by the lightning. The cattle was also killed in the incident. The police registered cases and shifted the dead bodies to the hospital for post-mortem.
