Wanaparthy: Littered wine bottles at Jurala Project irk Collector

Wanaparthy: District Collector Swetha Mohanthi expressed her displeasure over the way the entire Jurala project areas is being littered with wine and beer bottles and garbage strewn everywhere making the entire area hazardous for the visitors.

The Collector made this comment on visiting the Priyadarshini Jurala Project area under Nandimalla village of Amarachinta mandal in Wanaparthy district on Wednesday.

After seeing the large dumps of beer bottles strewn every where the district Collector expressed her anger over the village Panchayat secretary and directed him to immediately conduct the cleaning of the entire area.

The Collector also directed the excise officials to seize all the belt shops in the area. As per the directions, the excise officials seized all the belt shops in the Nandimalla village limits.

The village secretary also immediately initiated steps to clear the littered garbage in the surroundings of Jurala project. "Jurala is a tourist spot and the area here is littered with wine bottles and garbage littered every where we want to change this kind of scenario and directed the concerned authorities to mend their ways and make this areas clean and green," said the Collector.
