Live Updates: Studens Win, Kurti Dress code removed. St Francis Students euphoric

Tension mounted at St Francis College at Begumpet on Monday after the students staged a protest against the management for imposing restrictions to wearing kurtas below knees. Hundreds of students took part in the protest demanding the withdrawal of restrictions.

The college administration is sending back the students home those who wore the kurtas above their length for the last two days. Fumed over the restrictions at college, the students protested against the management. According to the eyewitnesses, students wearing Burqa was asked to pull it up with male watchman to show their kurta length before entering the college.

Local CI Mr. Karunakar Reddy along with women constables has come to take stock of the situation.
