Lord Mayor of London in Hyderabad to boost UK-India ties
Lord Mayor of London Peter Estlin arrived in Hyderabad for a series of meetings with regulators and business leaders.
Peter Estlin, the global ambassador for the UK's financial and professional services was on a five-day tour to India to hold talks with the government and business leaders in Delhi, Hyderabad and Mumbai.
The objective of his visit is to boost UK-India ties in innovation, technology, insurance and skills. On Wednesday, Peter travelled to the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) and spoke about the areas of further collaboration for mutual benefit.
Telangana Minister for IT KT Rama Rao welcomed Peter Estlin to Hyderabad. "Looking forward to a longterm and mutually beneficial association," said KTR.
