Lorry mows down couple in Khammam

A lorry mowed down a couple here on Tuesday at barugudem of Khammam district.

The incident occurred after a bolero vehicle in which the couple travelling in was hit by a lorry which then dragged the vehicle for some distance.

The couple were dead on the spot while the car driver suffered severe injuries. The deceased who are identified as Devender Reddy (45) and Nutana (40) were the natives of Kondapalli of Warangal district.
