LS polls: Boath tops with 76.09%

Adilabad: Of the seven Assembly segments, Boath (ST) constituency stood first while Nirmal was last in the list of voting percentage in Adilabad Lok Sabha constituency.

Sirpur, Asifabad, Khanapur, Adilabad, Boath, Nirmal and Mudhole segments come under Adilabad LS constituency.

According to official sources, Boath (ST) constituency recorded highest poll percentage of 76.09 per cent where 1,47,137 votes were polled against the total of 1,93,375 votes.

Asifabad Assembly segment is in second place with a poll percentage of 74.01 per cent, where 1,47,643 votes were polled against the total 1,99,498 votes in the constituency.

Mudhole Assembly segment is in third position with a poll percentage of 73.45 per cent, where out of the total 2,30,588 voters, 1,68,464 voters had polled their votes.

Khanapur ST Assembly segment came forth with a poll percentage of 71.16 per cent with 1,44,986 votes polled out of the total 2,03,746; followed by Adilabad, which secured fifth place with a poll percentage of 70.33 per cent where 1,54,446 votes were polled against the total 2,19,612 votes.

Sirpur constituency is in sixth position with a polling percentage of 69.52 per cent with 1,41,232 votes polled against the total 2,03,165 votes. Nirmal segment occupied the last place with a poll percentage 66.93 per cent as 1,25,882 voters exercised their franchise against the total of 1,59,531 voters.
