Sircilla: TRS working president and Sircilla MLA KT Rama Rao laid foundation stone for the construction of LV Prasad Eye Hospital on the premises of Podupu Bhavan in Sircilla town on Tuesday.

Speaking on the occasion, MLA KT Rama Rao said as part of social responsibility, many people are coming forward to render services to the people living in the society. The representatives of LV Prasad Eye Hospitals have decided to establish an eye hospital in Sircilla town and it is their seventh centre across the State, he added.

LV Prasads Hospitals is constructing the hospital in about 15,000 square yards space with international standards in association with Hetero Foundation. Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao's dream is to transform Telangana State into a healthy Telangana and to fulfil this dream, the TRS government is going to introduce Health Profile across the State for providing better medical services to the people, he assured.

KTR appreciated Nageshwar Rao, who took the initiation to open LV Prasad Eye Hospital, which has a great history of 32 years in medical field, in Sircilla town.

He also appreciated Parthasarathi Reddy, who decided to establish cancer hospital in Hyderabad.

Later, MLA KT Rama Rao inaugurated a special bus service introduced by the Road Transport Corporation from Vemulawada to Tirupati at Sircilla busstand.

Zilla Parishad Chairperson N Aruna, District Farmers Coordination Committee President Narsaiah, Assistant Collector Sathya Prasad, Market Committee Chairperson Rani, Women and Child Welfare Organiser Reena, former municipal chairperson Samala Pavani and councillors were among those who were present.
