Mahabubabad: Social activists to the rescue of poor girl

Mahabubabad: In a gesture, social activists Md Yakub Bee and Chotu, who runs Sahrudaya Home, came forward to provide financial assistance to a 18-year-old Md Nazia, who is suffering from paralysis. They also assured the girl of providing medical expenses till the girl regains her health.

Nazia, a native of Kuntapalli under Sangem mandal in Warangal Rural district, lost her father at the age of five. Her mother Razia is a daily wage worker. Her eldest daughter Apsara died of viral fever a few years ago. She married off her second daughter Safia recently. Nazia is currently pursuing her under graduation in the Government Degree College, Hanamkonda. She secured 912 marks in her Intermediate. Against this backdrop, Nazia fell sick a couple of months ago, and her hands and feet were paralysed.

"We provided her a wheelchair and some money for medicines. She is certain to regain her health with physiotherapy. We are ready to help her," said Yakub Bee. She appealed to philanthropists to come forward and help the poor girl.
