Mahbubnagar: CPI members from Mahbubnagar distributed essential commodities to 70 families on Saturday and helped them to overcome hardships of the lockdown imposed by the government in the event of wide spreading corona virus.

CPI district secretary Paramesh Goud said that the daily wage labourers, the auto rickshaw drivers and those who make their living by toiling as daily wage workers at various construction sites were chosen for the distribution of essential commodities.

"We have provided a few daily used essential commodities to the poor and hard working labourers who have lost their earning due to the lock down. Many poor families are adversely impacted as they have lost their income source and leading a pathetic life due to not availability of work. For such families, we have decided to distribute a few necessary essential commodities and tried to give some temporary relief to them. We are demanding the state government to make sure that all such people struggling to run their families must be given more facilities during the lock down period," said the CPI district secretary.
