Mahbubnagar: Excise Minister invites KTR for Manyamkonda Brahmotsavam
Mahbubnagar: With preparations high for the upcoming Lord Venkateshwara Swamy Brahmotsavam in Manyamkonda, Excise Minister Srinivas Goud invited Minister for IT and Municipal Administration KT Rama Rao to grace the occasion. Informing this to the media here on Saturday, Srinivas Goud said that this time Manyamkonda Brahmotsvam will be celebrated on a grand not and we are inviting Minister KTR for the inauguration of the festivities of Lord Venkateshwara Swamy.
Manyamkonda, located about 10 Kilometres from the district headquarters, is famous and prominent adobe of Lord Venkateshwara Swamy. This temple is famous as Mini Tirupati in Mahbubnagar district as the residing deity is seated on the hill top similar to Lord Balaji in Tirupati.
The Brahmotsvam of Manyamkonda Venkateshwara Swamy temple will be organised from February 4 to 13. Manyamkonda Sri Venkateshwara Swamy Temple has a history of more than 100 years. But the temple was not developed due to the neglect of earlier governments. After coming to power, the TRS developed the temple in a big way and did many constructions and provided facilities for the devotees, Minister Srinivas Goud stated.
