Mahbubnagar: Former MP urges all to contribute to Save RTC Fund
Mahbubnagar: Former MP and senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader A P Jitender Reddy said that the poor RTC employees and their families have literally come on to the roads as they have no money for basic survival also for the past 41 days.
The Former MP extending support to the RTC strike stressed on the need to set up Save RTC Fund and urged the NRIs and other philanthropists to contribute to the fund. Later, the MP also attended the all-party RTC meeting at RTC Union Office in Hyderabad and urged all citizens and NRIs to extend support and contribute to the save RTC fund.
He personally contributed Rs 1 lakh for food supplies of RTC employees. While speaking on the occasion he said, "It is unfortunate that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is behaving like a Dora and least caring about the plights of RTC employees.
He must not forget that he had also once come to Hyderabad from Karimnagar on a RTC bus. All his industrialist friends also used RTC buses to travel in their struggling days."
He also discussed about 'Save RTC fund' with RTC JAC Convenor Ashwathama Reddy.
The people of Telangana, Telugu NRIs and all Indians must understand the struggle and hardship of RTC employees and promis to contribute to their fight by contributing to 'Save RTC Fund.'
