Mahbubnagar: MLA Ala Venkateshwar Reddy distribute tractors to Gram Panchayats

Mahbubnagar: MLA Ala Venkateshwar Reddy distributed tractors to all the Gram Panchayaties in Addakal mandal of Devarkadra constituency on Tuesday.

As part of the 30 day action plan being carried out in Addakal mandal, the MLA took part in the programme and reviewed on the various development initiatives taken up in the mandal.

While speaking on the occasion the Devarkadra MLA said, "The 30-day action plan is not a onetime affair this initiative of the State government must go on continuously both in the rural and urban areas. The main objective behind this action plan is to bring a complete face change in the village atmosphere."

During the 30-day action plan, focus is given more on cleaning the drains, clearing the bushes, laying roads and water pipelines, erecting the power lines, clearing the unwanted trees and fallen and abandoned constructions. For taking up all these development programmes, the village people in coordination with the local representatives and the village authorities must sit together, discuss the major issues and set an action plan to implement it, observed the MLA. As the government felt that each GP must have a tractor to transport the everyday garbage collected in the villages and dump it into the dump yards, KCR, the Chief Minister of Telangana announced distribution of tractors to each GP. And as part this initiative, the Devarkadra MLA distributed as many as 14 tractors to all the revenue villages in Addakal mandal on Tuesday.
