Mahbubnagar: MLA Ala Venkateshwar Reddy promises to develop the famed Kurumurthy temple

Mahbubnagar: Devarkadra MLA Ala Venkateshwar Reddy, who visited the Kurumurthy temple on Friday, promised to provide better facilities for the devotees visiting the Kurumurthy Jatara.

Earlier, the MLA was received by the temple Executive Officer (EO) Srinivas Reddy with temple honours. Later, the MLA had the darshan of the presiding deity of the temple, and was blessed by the priests.

Speaking on the occasion, the MLA said that Kurumurthy Jatara was the biggest Jatara in the entire Mahbubnagar district. Every year lakhs of devotees take part in the Jatara and have the darshan of the deity and seek his blessings.

"After the formation of Telangana, we have taken up various works like laying of roads, providing water facilities and etc. However, there are many other things that are still needed to be done to facilitate the devotees. In the coming up days, we will do all that we can to bring more development and facilities to the devotees visiting the Jatara," said the MLA. Devarkadra ZPTC, MPTCs, MPPs and others accompanied the legislator during his visit to the temple.
