Mahbubnagar: Professor Pindi Pavan Kumar, who has recently took charge as the Registrar of Palamuru University, while agreeing to the fact that the university is facing various challenges; expressed optimism and positivity that with cooperation of the existing faculty and heads of departments, he would overcome these temporary hurdles very soon. He stressed that need for the faculty of all departments to work like a team, and with dedication and commitment, he said, he would achieve great success in enhancing the quality of education in the university.

The professor sought the support of teaching and non-teaching faculty and asked them to work as a team. "With PU being a very young university, it is not a surprise there would be problems of lack of faculty and inadequate infrastructure. But we should not give up and should keep on trying our best to overcome these problems and ensure we provide the best to the students with the available resources. I am confident that with the cooperation of all departments we can make many wonders.

I urge every department and faculty to work with commitment and dedication and should take up the mentorship of the students. We must continuously guide them until they get settled after their completion of their studies. Not just that if the senior faculty in the university can lead the fellow junior lecturers and maintain a perfect schedule every day, and take up research projects, it is not tough to get sponsors for the departments for their resources. If each department works with such a dedication, the university itself will get its own funds. Of course, we also need funds from the government to upgrade the infrastructure and to take up the new recruitments to fill the vacancies. However, it is also important for us to generate our own funds to make our university the best academic institutions in the State," observed the Registrar.
