Mahbubnagar: SVS Medical College conducts medical camp for Arthritis patients

Mahbubnagar: Commemorating World Arthritis Day on Saturday, the organisers at SVS Medical College conducted a free medical camp and provided free treatment to the patients suffering with joint pains.

During the free camp, as many as 147 patients who were suffering with severe joint pains were provided free treatment. While speaking on the occasion, Dr KJ Reddy, Managing Director of SVS Educational Institutions said that people over 50 years of age are more prone arthritis disease.

He said there are 4 stages of arthritis disease, people suffering from stage-1 and stage-2 can be heeled with medication and physiotherapy, however those suffering with stage-3 and stage-4 need to undergo the knee-joint replacement surgery and at the same time must undergo physiotherapy, informed the MD.

The SVS educational institution resident director Ramreddy played a key role in making the free medical camp a grand success.
