Mahbubnagar: District Collector Ronald Rose had instructed the Tahsildars of Mahbubnagar, Jadcherla, Devarkadra, Chinna Chintakunta, Bhootpur and Balanagar mandals to crosscheck the lands record details twice before giving the No Objection Certificates (NOCs).

Taking part in a review meeting with the Tahsildars of above mentioned mandals at the Collectorate on Wednesday, the District Collector stressed on certain survey numbers in the villages of Bandameedipally, Boyapally, Isrampally, Peddagollapur, Balasupally, Palamarrri, Gandeed and Motighanapur in Mahbubnagar mandal, Jadcherla, Khanapur, Annasagar, Ketireddypally and Booreddypally in Jadcherla mandals must be thoroughly verified before giving the NOCs.

The main reason for the district administration giving stress on crosschecking the land details before giving NOCs in these areas is that the market value of lands in these mandals is very high and many factories, industries and real-estate businesses were coming up in these areas. To avoid any litigation and problems and to avoid injustice caused to any farmer or landowner in these areas, the District Collector has directed the concerned Tahsildars to verify the details of the lands in these areas before giving the NOCs.

"During a meeting, instructions have been given to the concerned mandal officials to cross check the details of lands from various records like Kasra Pahani, Chelsa, Old RoR, New RoR, Pahani etc. The officials are also directed to ensure they record the government lands, ceiling lands and other lands as per the records before giving the NOCs to the public. The main objective behind this initiative is to ensure that the genuine farmers and landowners do not face any problems," informed the Collector.

The Collector stressed that pattadaar farmers should not face any problems just because of hasty issuance of NOCs by the officials. The Collector also inspected the records of all the farmers whose lands were under the Kharif crop list, and directed the officials to visit the lands if needed to resolve the issues of land disputes.
