Mahbubnagar: Youngster hangs self after rejected in Army recruitment selection

Mahbubnagar: Depressed youth from Chinnarajamoor village of Devarkadra mandal in Mahbubnagar district died on Monday by committing suicide hanging himself to a tree in his farmland.

According to sources, Ramanjaneilu (24), was very active and emerged winner in all kinds of sports as well as athletic competitions conducted during an army recruitment drive in Hyderabad.

Ramanjaneilu was happy to have got cleared all the physical and as well as written tests conducted by the army authorities and he was sure of getting the job once the medical verification was completed.

However, in the medical report conducted by the army hospital, Ramanjaneilu was reported to have some injuries on his body and the doctors declared him to be unfit to any kind of army jobs. Depressed over this, Ramanjaneilu came back to his village on Monday and went to his farmland and hanged himself to a tree and died.

The Devarkadra police registered a case, and investigating the matter.
