Mahmood Ali thanks CM KCR for anti-CAA resolution

Hyderabad: Home Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao for moving the resolution on Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), National Population Register (NPR) and National Register of Citizens (NRC) in the Telangana State Legislative Assembly and Council on March 16, which was passed by both the Houses unanimously after elaborate discussions made in the House.

The Home Minister said that the Chief Minister while introducing the resolution, spoke in the TS Legislative Assembly in detail duly covering the grave apprehensions over the implementation of CAA, NPR & NRC among various sections of the society. He said that Chief Minister cited various issues and concerns being raised by several sections of the society and the nation-wide protests and such protests may not be taken as dissent as anti-national etc. He said KCR touched every point and apprehension being raised by various sections of society and became their voice. The resolution has given a great sigh of relief to various sections of society and enhanced their trust on Telangana Government, he said.

"It is the fortune of Telangana State that we have got such a great leader and visionary as our Chief Minister who is a simple, down to earth and more so a secular leader under whose dynamic rule, the Telangana is fast progressing in all spheres in the fields of development and Welfare. Each and every section of the society, irrespective of any caste, community or religion in the state have got one or the other benefit from the government and people are very happy in the State and gave a thumping majority in all kinds of elections to the TRS party under the excellent leadership of KCR ji," he said.

Mahmood Ali described KCR as a 'Gifted Leader' to Indian Politics and society and said his active part in the national politics would definitely make an impact and benefit various sections of people particularly poor and downtrodden. He wished that KCR would play an active part in the national politics simultaneously for the benefit of the country at large.
